From time to time, we also have employment opportunities for passionate individuals who share our commitment to animal welfare.

Support Rescue Operations

Every donation, no matter the size, helps us provide a second chance to dogs who have nowhere else to turn. Your generosity funds nutritious food, emergency veterinary care, medications, vaccinations, shelter, and the daily care our rescued dogs need while they recover and wait for loving homes.

A one-time donation helps us respond to urgent needs, from rescuing an injured street dog to providing life-saving medical treatment. By becoming a monthly supporter, you'll provide reliable, ongoing funding that allows us to plan ahead, care for the dogs currently in our rescue, and continue vital community programs such as free sterilisation clinics and vaccinations.

Not everyone is able to adopt, but you can still make a life-changing difference by sponsoring one of our rescue dogs. By choosing a dog to sponsor, your monthly gift helps provide nutritious food, veterinary care, medications, enrichment, and the love and attention they need while they wait for their forever home.

Your sponsorship gives your chosen dog the opportunity to heal, grow in confidence, and prepare for the next chapter of their life. Every sponsorship also helps Perros Libres continue rescuing other dogs in need, creating hope for even more animals across Lake Atitlán.

When you sponsor a dog you get:

Personal updates monthly

on the dog's condition: health status, photos, videos of what their lives are like, and anything you'd like to know about them

Specialised Food

you can choose what type of food you'd like your dog to have, if you wish them to have a diet unique to what we already feed the dogs. This can be factored into their sponsorship costs if you have very specific requests

Adoption Plan

do you want to eventually adopt the sponsored dog? We can arrange it! Pay for your dogs stay and care until the point we can arrange it's adoption either here in Guatemala or directly out to your country!

We're currently compiling information on the international adoption process, and detailed information about the requirements, fees, and transport to countries such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and beyond and it will be available soon.
